Position Title: Accountant (Mid-Level)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Mid-Level Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of accounting experience, proficiency in Xero accounting software, and a strong understanding of accounting standards. A CPA certification is preferred but not required. This position offers a hybrid work environment, allowing for a balance between office presence and remote work.

 

Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate financial statements in accordance with accounting standards, ensuring all financial reporting deadlines are met.
  • Assist in tracking business funds, closely monitoring cash flow to ensure optimal financial health and sustainability of the organization.
  • Report on the company’s profits and losses, providing insights and analysis to support business decisions.
  • Support tax preparation and filing processes, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws and regulations.
  • Create comprehensive financial reports, detailing company performance, for review by senior management and stakeholders.
  • Track and analyze costs, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
  • Maintain organized financial records, ensuring all financial documents are accurately filed and easily accessible.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and systems, including the utilization of Xero for optimal financial management.

 

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of professional Philippine accounting experience.
  • Additional experience with NZ and/or AU accounting aside from Philippine Accounting, is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Xero accounting software.
  • CPA certification if preferred.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Preferably with CPA certification.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with a mix of onsite and remote work (based in Clark Pampanga).
