The Role
We are looking to hire a skilled Full Stack Ruby on Rails developer to manage the interchange of data between our users and the server. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side logic for the central database, testing performance, troubleshooting, and integrating front-end elements into the application. To be successful in this role, you should have extensive experience working with ruby and back-end integration techniques as well as front-end functionalities. Ultimately, a top-level ruby on rails developer can create clean, functional code that perfectly suits the needs of the company. You should also be a collaborative team player with a knack for visual design and utility.

On a typical day you will…
•    Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
•    Design robust, scalable, and secure features.
•    Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
•    Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of applications.
•    Follow best practices (test-driven development, continuous integration, SCRUM, refactoring, and code standards).
•    Collaborate with the rest of the team to design, build, and deploy new features and functionality.
•    Maintain code integrity and organization.
•    Drive continuous adoption and integration of relevant new technologies into design.
•    Understanding and implementation of security and data protection.

What we are looking for…
•    5+ years commercial experience in the development industry. 
•    Proven work experience with Ruby on Rails and PHP.
•    Basic DevOps skills including Ruby on Rails.
•    Heroku knowledge.
•    Experience working with code versioning tools i.e., Git etc.
•    Good knowledge with software design patterns and software architectural patterns.
•    Demonstrable knowledge of front-end technologies.
•    Excellent communication (in English) written and verbal. 
•    Impeccable attention to detail and organizational skills. 
•    Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
