Job Description

The Senior C# Developer is responsible for the system analysis, technical design, development, testing, enhancement, and maintenance of various applications that support our business functions. In addition, we will expect you to lead new technology/tooling research, ensuring our agile methodologies are being followed, supervision of code maintenance and source control branch monitoring. The selected candidate will be required to perform and oversee tasks related to the development of software applications, data transformation activities, and lead their respective team.

Key responsibilities include roles in software design, architecture, requirements analysis, investigation of new technologies, and software development. The candidate should have experience with object-oriented programming principles, enterprise integration patterns, and agile software development practices – including scrum and test/business driven development. He/she should have extensive experience with digital technologies: web/internet, C#, Java, XML/xHTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST/JSON API consumption, API platforms, and database systems.



  • Lead the specification and software design phases of the software development life cycle
  • Work closely with team members to produce technologically enabled applications, products and services
  • Responsible for overall technical implementation of applications and frequently interact with internal and external business contacts
  • Responsible for knowledge transfer of new technologies among team members to support applications
  • Lead root cause analyses communicate options for resolutions and supply recommendations to technology problems
  • Research and resolve any application issues
  • Provide direction in best practices, design, and technologies
  • Provide technology-enabled solutions to address complex business problems
  •  Application development across the full lifecycle
  • Produce well designed, testable, efficient code or configuration in a timely manner to meet delivery timescales / milestones
  • Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility
  • Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
  • Document and maintain software functionality
  • Prepare time and resource estimates for development activities
  • Tailor and deploy software tools, processes, and metrics
  • Perform unit and component testing.
  • Support functional and non-functional unit testing.
  • Own issues, drive and address open questions and follow-ups until all clarified and resolved
  • Support code or configuration deployment to enable efficient and accurate implementations
  • Complete other duties as assigned


  • 5+ years of development experience including software implementation, estimation, business/systems analysis and client management, 4+ years of development experience (the last 4+ in .NET)
  • 4+ years of experience with C#, .NET, Visual Studio, ASP.NET, IIS.
  • 3+ years of web application development including JavaScript, XML, AJAX.
  • 5 + years of experience with MS SQL Server, T-SQL, Tables, Stored Procedures, Views.
  • 2+ years of Entity Framework (EF) experience.
  • 2+ years of Web Services/WCF/Web API experience.
  • 2+ years of experience working Git source control.
  • 2+ years of working with VSTS.
  • 2+ years of experience with Bootstrap templates
  • 1+ years of experience with .NET MVC 4/5
  • 1+ years of experience in designing rich dynamic web applications using HTML5 features along with Responsive Design using CSS3
  • Some experience with ASP .NET Core.
  • Sound understanding of development life cycle
  • Excellent people leadership & management experience, stakeholder management
  • Excellent facilitation, negotiation & communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Ability to work at all levels within the organisation
  • Experience as a Project Manager is a plus
  • Willingness to travel as required
